Back in 2007 when Aksels (pronounced Axel’s) was founded, you could say it fell into the stereotypical, “selling t-shirts out of the trunk of your car” category, but since then, through a series of baby steps it has officially left the trunk of the car and moved to the basement.
Well, maybe the storage closet, but all kidding aside, it has forged full steam ahead with it's sights set on reaching its initial goal of putting Denver on the map and breaching beyond the native borders of Colorado.
Due to the great success of the Grown Locally series of tee’s, Aksels has taken one large step in launching its national campaign of spreading the Grown Locally love across the US. So whether you’re proud of your native roots, or just appreciate the finer things your great state has to offer, you can throw on a Grown Locally tee and help represent!
The continued success of the Grown Locally series, has also allowed for Aksels to continue its other passion, which is to produce tee’s that make people laugh, smile, or well…stare at the shirt and possibly evoke a look of disbelief.
